How the Deforestation investment option is invested.
Most of the deforestation impacts of large companies are in their supply chains, where there is very little public transparency. The Forest 500 Project is a platform run by the Global Canopy Programme that identifies the 500 global companies who have the most power to combat this issue in their operations and supply chains. It then scores companies, financial institutions, and jurisdictions based on their policies and actions addressing potential deforestation.

As accurate on November 7, 2017, the Deforestation investment option excludes companies with a rank lower than 3 out of 5 by the ‘Forest 500 Project’ based on the company’s policies and actions towards combating deforestation as follows:
