Insurance cover through Good Super
Good Super provides automatic Life Insurance, Total and Permanent Disablement and Income Protection insurance cover to all eligible members.
Insurance is provided through Good Super by:
- MetLife Insurance Limited ABN 75 004 274 882 for Life insurance, and
- YourCover Pty Ltd ABN 35 169 038 466 for Total Permanent Disability and Income Protection insurance.
Members may be eligible to obtain insurance through Good Super if you are employed, an Australian Resident and aged between the ages of 16 and 64, subject to conditions and exclusions, including a three-year Pre-existing Condition Exclusion. Insurance cover commences immediately upon becoming a member of Good Super as long as you have sufficient funds to pay for your insurance premiums within 4 months of account opening.

Transferring your Super to Good Super
Your current super fund may insure you against death, disability, illness or accident which prevents you from working. If you have chosen to transfer the balance of your current fund to Good Super, you may lose some or all of the insurance entitlements you have in your current super funds. We suggest you carefully consider your insurance options prior to any super consolidation.
How do I cancel my Good Super insurance?
You can cancel/ opt out of your insurance cover through your Member Portal online. If you have any concerns please do contact our friendly customer service team at email@example.com or 1300 788 658.
Insurance premiums will apply to Good Super members who have insurance through Good Super. Premiums vary depending on your particular circumstances. The premium will be automatically withdrawn from your Good Super account balance each month and will not be calculated pro-rata for partial months.

The insurance cover offered by the Trustee is provided by a MetLife Group Policy and YourCover Group Policy (jointly the Policies) held by the Trustee. The provision of insurance is subject at all times to acceptance by the Insurer, and to the terms of the insurance policies. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Policies and the Product Disclosure Statement and Insurance Guide, the relevant Policy terms will prevail. A copy of the Policy document may be made available free of charge by making a request to the Trustee by calling Member Services on 1300 788 658 between 9am – 5pm (Melbourne time) Monday to Friday, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
